Vaguely in response to tumblr developer is a jerk…: This set off a little rant in my head, and inevitably, the little rants in my head end up here. I’m not picking on you as much as I am responding to a backlog of emails I’ve received but never replied to — feature requests demands for my own web projects, what have you.

When you make things and give them to The Internet for free, people are almost always very nice and thankful and it’s really great. But every now and then, just as in the real world, they behave as if you’ve interrupted their dinner.

Tumblr did not interrupt your dinner.

So thank you, Tumblr, for this free (did I mention free? And thus far ad-free?) service that you provide. The one that makes it so easy for me to rant. :-)
